Education Dr. Brandon White graduated high school in 2001 and knew exactly what he wanted to be. Personal Dr. Brandon White is married and has two children, ages 7 and 5. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and visiting Oregon’s mountain lakes, but now that he has children he loves being a father immensely. Dr. White enjoys furthering his education through various coursework and educational opportunities. He also maintains membership in the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and Rogue Valley Dental Society/Southern Oregon Dental Society. At my first dental practice, I quickly worked my way up from a receptionist, to a financial and insurance coordinator, and office assistant to the doctor. Because of the 16 years I spent working in a large specialty practice, I have had the pleasure of assisting many thousands of patients with their financial and insurance needs and have always enjoyed when I could bring a smile to a patient that arrived for his/her appointment worried or nervous. When I was offered the opportunity to come on board with Dr. White and his team as Office Manager at White Dental Studio – again, it seemed a natural fit. I am enjoying immensely the ability to spend more time getting to know my patients, and working with such a fantastic doctor and staff. Outside of work, I have an amazing husband with whom I have been for 20 years, and we have three young girls. Hi! I’m Cindy. I love dentistry and always knew that I wanted a career in this field. I became a Registered Dental Assistant in 1984. Later, I attended hygiene school and graduated in 1995. I have worked in both general dentistry practices and periodontics. My favorite part of dental hygiene is meeting wonderful clients and helping them achieve their goals of good oral care. As far as I know, I am the world’s only whitewater rafting, tuba-playing dental “guy-gienist.” Not at the same time, of course! I entered the dental world in the early 2000s by becoming an oral surgery assistant. I enjoyed the fast paced nature of oral surgery, and quickly became a dental implant coordinator. After many years helping patients, I gave birth to my youngest daughter and decided I needed to be able to be home with her in those early years. Though general dentistry was new to me, many of my skills translated well and I was quickly able to obtain my Expanded Functions Dental Assistant license. It's nice seeing people on a repeat basis so that you can really get to know them, and I'm always happy to provide a pat on the shoulder or a comforting word to a nervous or worried patient. I have a long history in finance and customer service. I entered the work force as a teen in 2006 as a teller at a local credit union. I worked my way up the ladder from entry level teller to loan officer and branch team lead over the next seven years, weathering the storm of the 2008 recession. Next, I briefly worked as a surgery assistant for an oral surgeon and gained my dental radiology certification. I also briefly worked as a bakery assistant and relief baker, which was far outside my wheelhouse but so much fun. In the end though, I found my way back to customer service and finance by the opportunity here with Dr. White at White Dental Studio. I had already been a patient for years and knew the high quality of his work and his care for his patients and staff. I am thoroughly enjoying being part of welcoming new patients to the office and getting to know our long-time patients! In my spare time I love to spend time with my daughter (when she lets me because I am no longer cool), hike, read (mostly science fiction), and visit my boyfriend in Reno, NV where we usually find some event or new hike to take on.
