Dr. Brian Hoffman graduated with his Baccalaureate Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from The Ohio State University, then received his Master's Degree in Epidemiology and Public Health from The Ohio State University, College of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Hoffman then went on to earn his Doctoral Dental Degree from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. " Today was my first visit with Dr. Hoffman. Went in as an emergency patient. I was quite scared. Because I was in so much pain. When he first came into the room. He sat down and talked with me. Went over all my medications and health issues. Being the kind soul he is. Gave me comfort and trust in him. Was able to become more comfortable being there. When he started working on me. " I had my second annual check-up with Dr. Hoffman on March 25. His cheerful assistant, Antonia, first took X-rays, without having to re-do any of them. After awhile, Dr. Hoffman appeared and reviewed my health and dental records, as well as the X-rays. Previous dentists that I had up north usually did a cursory dental inspection, checking off the numbers of each tooth as quickly as possible. In contrast, Dr. Hoffman, who is a graduate of Tuft University's dental school, fully assessed each tooth,...Read More including last year's crown and root-canal work, in the most impressively technical terms that only a dental student would appreciate, but which Antonia silently recorded without needing anything to be repeated. I expected some new problem to crop up during such a thorough exam, so I was surprised to hear that I was good to go. A year earlier, Dr. Hoffman fixed my lifelong malocclusion by making a series of highly skillful adjustments. My malocclusion had stumped numerous orthodontists, but not Dr. Hoffman. He's by far the most skillful and brilliant dentist that I ever visited. Sarasota is fortunate to have such a world-class dentist.
