I am a retired dentist living on a sailboat. Finding a dentist as we travel is always a challenge. I was very pleased to find Three Trees Dental. Their office was friendly, professional, clean, with the latest technology in this ever changing profession. I would highly recommend their office to anyone.
The staff is amazing, and as a 16 year old they even went as far to helped me understand and complete all of my dental needs. If I could I would leave 10 stars
I went for many years to Dr. Danny’s father who was a great dentist, so I stuck with Danny, Jr. and he is great too. He’s located on James Island so easy for me to get to — I trust him totally. He’s not the type of dentist that wants “to do your whole mouth over” — but is very thorough. He’s also got a nice personality and is friendly and will talk to you if you have any problems and will explain your problem in terms that you can understand.
Our family has been going here for years. We moved from West Ashley area to Summerville 16 years ago and we continue to make the drive. Dr. Gardner and his staff are the best! We have two boys and they were kind of nervous at first. His staff has made their experience so great. They jump right up in the chair with no problems, when it is their turn. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gardner and his staff! Thank you all for being the best!
The staff at Three Trees Dental is very professional and super nice. I found Dr. Gardner to be very knowledgeable and a compassionate doctor. Dr. Gardner took us through all the options and was very patient in answering all of our questions. I would recommend Three Trees Dental to my family, friends and anyone looking for a dentist on James Island.

I have personally been a patient of the Gardner's since back in the 80's. First, Don Gardner before he retired and now Danny Gardner since he took over from his father. I am very satisfied with the personal attention to details, the care and excellent dental work that has come out of that office on Harborview Road, James Island. I have had a phobia since childhood with going to a dentist. The Doctors Gardner and their staff have been most patient and kind, helping me to overcome the fear of even having my teeth cleaned. We relocated a few years ago, but I travel the 4 hours to go back for dental appointments. Great dentist, great staff.
Dr. Gardner is hands down the best dentist I have ever had. Been around the world and have not found better. Staff treats you like family.
Dr. Gardner is a man of integrity with outstanding skills. He will give you a fantastic smile and explain his plan to get there. His staff is wonderful and make you feel special the moment you walk-in. I was terrified of dentist most of my life and now I'm a faithful customer. I don't recommend folks I don't believe in.
