I was a first time patient of Bedford Dental Care a few days ago. I broke one of my teeth and I was unable to access my own dentist whose office was out of state. I was referred by a friend, who was a patient, at BDC. They scheduled an appointment and saw me the very day that I called. Dr. Guthrie personally explained the treatment necessary, provided me a written estimate before starting, and then completed my emergency dental work in an hour. I'm very happy to be a new patient at Bedford Dental Care! Everyone has been so welcoming.Dr.Gunthrie is awsome!He is so nice and gentle and explains everything throughly.When I was having my dental work done Dr.Gunthrie and his assistant Rachel were always checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable.I like that this practice will make time to see you if you need an appointment.I highly recommend Bedford Dental Care!

Highly recommend Bedford Dental Care, this office has awesome dental technology, my dentist William Guthrie DDS is fantastic he knows his business and I could tell from my first appointment that I made the best decision ever to change dentists, if you need a dentist or a new dentist run don't walk to Bedford Dental Care

The best dental practice PERIOD. For the last 18 years I have told people that the best thing about living in New Hampshire was my dentist. No Joke. As a person with some significant fear of dental procedures I have been thrilled with my experience at Bedford Dental Care. Dr. Loveless and his team have provided my entire family with wonderful, pain free, care for these years while only recommending care that was absolutely necessary. I cannot say enough about Dr. Loveless, his team and their car...read moree.Recently I learned that my body turned on itself destroying one of my teeth (resorption). What a shock… and yes fear… what would it be like to have a tooth removed and a dental implant put in. Could it be any worse? It was my front tooth. I was told by personal friends that happen to be dentists that it was almost impossible to match an implant when it was a front tooth.The day of reckoning arrived, it was time for the “big pull”. I was a mess to say the least. Bottom line… it was completely painless. I almost fell asleep during the processes. Dr. Johnson was great and the gum work looks perfect – thank you.Now it was time for Dr. Connolly to do his magic and create a tooth replacement that looks natural (coming from the gum itself) that matches the natural tooth next to it. My dentist friends were correct, it was going to be tough to match and it required several attempts. Any other dentist would have given up and merely placed veneers on both front teeth to match them. Not Dr. Connolly—he would not relent until he had it perfect and in end, it is absolutely perfect. I am thrilled!!! Thank you Dr. Connolly and team.Bottom line… Bedford Dental Care worked together as a team to provide me with a perfect solution. No member of this team stopped short of perfection – it was a matter of pride for each of them to get it perfect and they did. Be it the front desk greeter, the dental care providers or the professional staff that complete the process, Bedford Dental Care has perfected the dental experience. Thank you so much! read less

I have had to have several composites replaced on this tooth & over the years, the tooth has become yellowed & discolored around the edge where it was chipped off. I have gone to Dentist after Dentist but none of them could ever fix it to where you couldn't see the discoloration...that is until I found Dr. Adam Lankford at Bedford Dental Care. I have been a patient of Dr Connolly and Vanessa, dental hygienist for 7 or 8 years. I need major restorative work and was referred to this practice from my former dentist who had more of a "general" practice. Dr Connolly is patient, thoroughly explains the procedures and performs superb work. Vanessa is quick, professional and painless. I have had hygneists in the past who were either indifferent, judgemental, or condescending. Vanessa is none of these things. For those of is with severe dent...read moreal anxiety who have neglected care o we the years, the last thing we need is to feel judged when we fully muster up the courage to sit in the chair. No judgement, just consummate professionalism. Additonally, no billing issues. I have never received an adjusted statement with an additional amount owed. My husband sees a different dentist and that office can never calculate what we owe after the insurance portion. We receive multiple adjusted bills. I appreciate that Bedford Dental always had its billing accurate. read less

I was quite reluctant when finding a dentist as to if he would be a good dentist. Dr. Guthrie was part of my insurance plan so after hemming and hawing, I decided to check him out. I had had a very bad experience with my last dentist, who was also in my insurance plan. The past dentist had given me a lot of Novocain which not only gave me the shakes but did not wait for it to take effect so I was also in great pain. Dr. Guthrie was sensitive to my fears and not only did I not get the shakes ...read morebut I never felt any pain even after the Novocain or whatever he used, I didn't even feel any pain as it wore off. He is very personable and always has a genuine smile when he greets you. I was also concerned that because of all the services that they offered I would be bombarded with them trying to upsell me. Nothing of the sorts. I love all of his assistants as well they know who you are and are very friendly. I have recently started referring others to the practice because I am confident in the work they do. I had two crowns put in and I was appreciative at the fact that I had a little pain after the first temporary was put in (because I had two teeth that needed crowns but he was trying to be sensitive to our finances and was going to hold off before starting the work on the 2nd crown). Since I still had a little pain, he decided that instead of putting the first crown on immediately, in case the pain was because of a problem with the nerve and not waiting to have to drill through the new crown (even though he didn't think there was a problem with the nerve), he suggested I wait a few weeks and pay attention to where the pain was coming from. I did and found it was due to the 2nd tooth that was right next to the 1st crown. He just put the two crowns in this week and called up for some slight tweaking and I cannot believe the difference in how my mouth feels. I can eat normal again. I had crowns put in in the past and I can say, that the kind of dentist Dr. Guthrie is, and I have heard that the whole practice is the same way, I have no intentions to go looking for another dentist.
