I needed a dentist while visiting from out of state. Even though they knew I would be a one time customer the service from the dentist, assistant and front office staff was excellent.
Satisfied with the service, and care
I love the staff and Doctors at Hawaii Family Dental. From the girls at the front counter to my hygienist to Dr. Cecilia and Dr. Meredith and their assistant. Everyone is really friendly and they all have a great sense of humor. I enjoy going to see them. Everyone who works here really makes a visit to the dentist, which is normally not a fun time, really enjoyable. Great group of people, with exceptional customer service. I would refer this team to anyone who needs a dentist!
This is the most fun I've had at a dentist office. Dr. Sicilia and staff are accommodating and so thoughtful. You don't feel like an item on the conveyer belt being pushed along. Actually, they make me feel very at home, comfortable, and we have great conversations and end up laughing quite a bit. I was very happy with the way that Dr. Meredith and the staff performed my implant procedure. I was amazed (and pleased) when Dr. Meredith called me at home the following day to inquire on my condition and status. I have never had a dentist follow up on me after a procedure. Very impressive.
Everyone was very friendly and timely. It is great finding a dentist office that values my time. May did a thorough job cleaning my teeth and was very pleasant. Doctor Sicilia was a delight. I look forward to having you as my permanent dentist.

The staff was nice. Lani, the hygienist, cleaned and polished my teeth quickly and thoroughly. Donna, the dental assistant, took my x-rays fast and painlessly. The doctor inspected my teeth, gums and mouth swiftly and in-depth and provided recommendations to properly manage and care for my teeth in the future.
Dr. Derrickson is extremely personable, taking time to explain things and always checking whether you're comfortable. He is thorough, careful and gentle. And both crowns I've had fit perfectly. Hygienist Jenn S is a delight--funny, very friendly, and extremely gentle. Your teeth feel clean but not scraped! I look forward to appointments with them.
