Needless to say, working on humans oral Tooth help is very tough!!! But Dr. Erick Schmidt and his team have Been taking care of my overall oral health For years now. And it seems he takes care of his staff. I do See his employees on a ongoing basis. G’nite

This is absolutely the best dentist in the Bay Area.Dr. Brian has been treating our family for many years, he has a wonderful way of working with children, our daughter actually looks forward to seeing him.Child or not he explains everything that he is doing and takes lots of extra time to make sure that you are comfortable.He was so gentle and careful that I didn't need anesthetic, until my recent root canal.The office is very clean and his supportive staff is very professional.It is definitely...read more worth the extra travel time if you live outside the area, dentists like Dr. Hathcoat are hard to find.Plenty of shaded parking also.You might have to wait to get an appointment as he is very popular, I would imagine that most all of his patients won't go anywhere else.It's very nice to have a dentist that you can trust and really cares about you.Dr. Brian donates his extra time to helping people in the community, he was a volunteer during covid.I met him in Oakland providing a free weekly dental clinic to anyone regardless of payment, a truly generous man! read less

I had been avoiding the dentist for YEARS because of a couple of past very traumatic dental experiences. My teeth really needed attention, so I finally got the courage to make an appointment. I’m so glad I did. The staff here is so friendly and kind. Dr. Kim is my dentist and he is absolutely AMAZING. He completely understands my anxiety and works with me. I am actually getting much less anxious with each visit. All of the dental assistants are very upbeat and professional, and a delight to interact with. And after all of my avoidance… this dental office was just 3 blocks from my home the whole time. 😄 I happen to be moving about 90 minutes away to a Sacramento suburb, but I plan to make the drive to Alameda to complete the rest of my planned dental work (which is unfortunately extensive, due to my previous dentist avoidance). I was served by dentist, Dr. Kong. Tooth repair required two visits. Dr. Kong's skill in her work which is matched by her kindness resulted in a pleasant experience.
