Love this place and staff. I have been seeing Dr Giang for almost 17+ years. Don't need to say much about Dr Giang the number of years speaks for itself. All 3 hygienist are awesome, always give you great advice and take time to listen to you.

I used to be scared to go to dentist, also a very strong gag reflex didnt help. Since coming at Southland dental under Dr. Chan's care, all my teeth are fixed and I actually now enjoy going to the dentist for regular cleaning. I got multiple Crowns,fillings and root-canals done here. Compared to the ones i got done before through various other dentists, I can really see the difference myself on the X-rays. I also like the fact that they think about cost/benefit. My family works in dental offices, even though that would be way cheaper for me, i prefer this office (because of quality and patience with people like me) !Awesome support staff too ! My family recently just moved to Hayward 2 years ago and I've been hesitant to go to a dentist place just because I used to love going to my dentist in san pablo. I'm the type of person who would drive out of my way just to get good care.After my first visit I was very nervous and scared just because I was comparing the place from my old dentist. You will probably see her more than anyone on the office and that is not a bad thing. Dr. Giang is a great doctor that thoroughly explains what it is and needs to be done and does not beat around the Bush. Dr. Dave is the same and makes you feel comfortable when you're on the chair. As we all know that chair can make anyone feel nervous and afraid. But during my visit, both doctors were outstanding. Let me just finish by saying I have recommended this place to my family members and friends who lives in the area. Everybody is so nice and professional, specially my hygienist, Eileen. She will make you feel comfortable any time you sit on her chair. The receptionist, Brenda, is awesome, very attentive. I would recommend this dental clinic to everyone.
