I am a native Washingtonian and a graduate of Lakes High School in Tacoma. I continued my education at Colgate University and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Economics. Soon after, I earned a Masters in Public Health and a Doctorate Degree in Dental Science from Columbia University. Later, I completed my General Practice Residency in South Carolina. At least once a year, I will travel to countries in need on a Medical Mission Trip. There, I spend time with the families, teach the children and provide dental care. In 2016 I went to Lebanon and treated the Syrian refugees and tried to show the people love without borders. In 2017 I went to Cambodia and taught basic English at the school while also providing dental treatment. The experiences there are eye-opening and life-changing and provides a great new perspective every time I return back to the Pacific Northwest. Read Less
