Born in Canton, Ohio, Dr. Martin Goebbel attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1976. He was inducted into Alpha Epsilon Delta, Ohio Delta Chapter for his academic accomplishments. Dr. Goebbel received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1978. He received The American Academy of Periodontology Student Award for his accomplishments in the Periodontal Program. Dr. Goebbel completed a Dental General Practice Residency at the United States Public Health Service Hospital in San Francisco, California in 1979. He served as a Dental Officer in the United States Public Health Service, Indian Health Service from 1979 through June of 1988. During this duty tour, Dr. Goebbel was a clinical instructor in the Indian Health Service Dental Assistant Training Program, a clinical instructor in the University of New Mexico Dental Hygiene Program, as well as Infection Control Officer at SIPI Dental Center. He worked closely with both The Center for Disease Control and OSHA. Mindy has been in the dental industry since she was 18 years old and worked as front office staff for her brother-in-law who is a dentist. She comes from a very dental oriented family – there are 7 dentists in her family! She is licensed in Utah and Arizona as an RDH and is pursuing licensure in the state of New Mexico at this time. She is also licensed for anesthesiology. Mindy also has a passion for practice management and marketing and in the last few years has combined her talents with computers and dentistry to enable her to perform the role of Office Manager. She enjoys the different challenges she is able to undertake in this capacity. She will also be able to use her skills in hygiene and anesthesia to assist when one of the hygienists is ill or on vacation, and to help out in the back as she is needed. Mindy and her husband of 31 years have 11 children and 15 grandchildren who are the joy of their lives. They just recently moved to New Mexico and are very excited for the opportunities and challenges they have in front of them. Michelle graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in 2009 as a Certified Dental Assistant and since then has worked as a Dental Assistant and Office Administrator.
