Dr. Katherine T. Nichols (Dr. Katie) was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. She graduated from Butler University in 2006 with an undergraduate degree in Biology. She went on to attend Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors in 2010 and completed her residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. As a mom, Dr. Katie understands the complexities of children’s oral health and is passionate about providing a positive experience for her patients and their families. She knows first-hand the stress that a child’s dental appointment can bring and prides herself on creating a tailored experience unique to your child’s individual needs. She enjoys educating patients on preventative care and the importance of oral hygiene through each stage of life. Dr. Katie is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Dental Association, and the Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and maintains hospital privileges at St. Vincent’s Carmel Hospital and IU North Hospital. Dr. Katie is certified in CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to provide her patients with the safest and most up to date sedation options possible. Dr. Katie and her husband, Scott, enjoy spending as much time as possible with their two sons, Knox and Nolan. They enjoy family bike rides, playing at the park and cheering on the Butler Bulldogs. Natalie joined the team in 2015 as an expanded-function dental assistant. Natalie’s high energy and positive attitude makes her the perfect addition to our team. Natalie grew up in Fishers, IN. Natalie and Anthony enjoy water activities and the outdoors with their son, Niko. Natalie is very close to her family and loves to babysit her nieces and nephews.

Mari has been a valued member of our team since 2007. Having many years of experience working with children, Mari knows how to comfort children during dental procedures. Mari has a magnetic personality that can light up any room she walks into and has a very calming nature about her. Mari does impeccable dental restorations even on the wiggliest of patients! Mari and her husband, Mike, both enjoy being active outdoors and within their community with their beautiful son.

Debbie started working at Carmel Pediatric Dentistry in February 2016 as our Business Office Coordinator. Due to both clinical and business experience, Debbie has been a vital team member being able to answer any questions or concerns patients may have. Debbie’s extensive range of skills enables her to provide your child an enjoyable dental experience. Debbie and her husband, Brandon, have two adorable little boys. In Debbie’s free time, she can be found in the kitchen making yummy treats.

Jackie has been working at Carmel Pediatric Dentistry since 2013. Jackie is one of the kindest people you will ever come in contact with, which makes her perfect to coordinate your child’s dental appointments.
