Schultz Family Dental

Dr. Schultz was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but spent the majority of her childhood in Newnan. She received her pre-doctoral education at Marquette University, graduating Cum Laude in 2007, with a major in English Literature and a minor in Biological Sciences. In 2008, Dr. Schultz entered dental school at the Georgia Health Sciences University College of Dental Medicine, and received her doctoral degree in 2012. Dr. Schultz has been in private practice in the Newnan, Peachtree City, and Buckhead areas since 2013. She is a volunteer at the Coweta Samaritan Dental Clinic, where she enjoys spending time with students in dental assisting school and caring for Coweta county's underserved. She also hosts interns each semester from West Georgia Tech's Dental Assisting Program, so that they can experience great on-the-job training. Dr. Schultz has since continued her involvement with organized dentistry and scholarship, serving as the Co-Editor for the Northern District Dental Society newsletter, the author of several different dental publications, and a contributing author for Dr. Ronald Goldstein's book, Esthetics in Dentistry. Dr. Schultz is also committed to advanced continuing education. To that end, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Hinman Dental Society, the Spear Study Club, and the Seattle Study Club. As a member of these organizations, she attends lectures on the latest advances and technology in the practice of dentistry, so that she can implement new information into her practice of dentistry. Megan has been in the field of dentistry for eight years. She graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Over the course of her career, Megan has worked as a front office assistant, chair-side dental assistant, and currently, as a dental hygienist.
