Dr. Melina R. Gable has been practicing dentistry since 2010, serving Jackson County since 2012. As a young girl, she always wanted to be a dentist. Growing up as an army brat, she had great experiences with the military dentists and always enjoyed going for her regular checkups. She completed a post bachelor’s summer program at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before continuing to earn her Masters in Biomedical Science and Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Her loyalty lies with the ACC. An active member of the American Dental Association, and Georgia Dental Association, she continues her education to better serve her patients with the best materials and modern techniques. Her passion for helping others does not stop at dental. She is an active member at Southside Church and plans to serve as a small group leader. Dr Melina’s fluency in Spanish has allowed her to plan and serve in local and international missions. She has volunteered with Team Smile, and the Georgia Baptist Mobile Mission. She has since started her own local mission “Smile Forward”, to help Jackson county residents while donating all proceeds forward to help local county charities. Locally she has served on the Planning and Zoning Committee for the City of Hoschton, and volunteers at West Jackson Elementary. She lives in Hoschton with her husband Wayne , her son Olon. I started as an assistant with Dr. Melina upon graduation in 2018. I enjoy taking care of our patients on a daily basis and the relationships I have formed with them over the time I have been here. I feel fortunate to work alongside Dr. Melina everyday. I take pride in what I do and the people I work with. Away from the office, my time is spent with my family, my husband Shane and our 3 boys Cage, Bane and Steele.

My name is Becca I relocated from Florida in 2010 and found my way here, with Dr Melina. and West Jackson Family Dental in 2015. I completed my first degree in Dietetics at UGA 2010 and then completed my Dental Hygiene degree in 2014 at Athens Tech. I truly love what I do and being able to meet each patient and get to know them. I especially feel accomplished when I can make a patient with previous negative memories or dental fears feel more comfortable and happy to be receiving care.
