Dr. Krehl Stegelmeier was raised in the small town of Rexburg, Idaho where his father was the town veterinarian. He grew up helping his father and working on his uncle’s potato farm. He met his wife Amy in Jackson, Wyoming where they both worked as river guides on the Snake River. He received his Bachelor’s degree at Idaho State University with a major in Zoology. The Stegelmeier family moved to Fruita in May of 2005. They love the area and the recreation that it provides. They raft the Colorado as a family in the summers. They also love to go boating, mountain biking, hiking and other other activities where they can enjoy the out doors. Michelle is a native of Fruita, and has been working for Fruita Canyon Dental for the past 10 years. She graduated from FMHS and loves living in this area. Michelle enjoys the beautiful outdoors and spending time camping and four-wheeling with her husband and five children. She is a Certified Dental Asst. CPR, and First Aid Certified. She is amazing at keeping our front office running smoothly!

Sarah is originally from Fruita, but spent a few years on the front range, which is partly why she’s a huge Bronco’s fan! GO VON! In her free time, Sarah loves playing soccer, spending time with her high school sweetheart, watching movies & cuddling with her four-legged children…2 felines, 2-canines. MEEEOW!! Needless to say, she is an animal lover! Sarah is at our front desk, and looks forward to being the first smile you see when you walk through our doors.

Cyndi is another one of our hygienists. She has been a Dental Hygienists for 26 years, the last six being with Dr. Stegelmeier. She truly loves what she does. Cyndi also enjoys camping, hiking, golfing and spending time with her family. She loves to cook and try new recipes, especially desserts. She is a valuable part of the Fruita Canyon Dental team!

Chelsie is one of our Dental Hygienists. She was born in Wyoming & lived there until 2001 when she moved to Rangely with her family. Chelsie stayed in Rangely until she graduated from CNCC with her Dental Hygiene Degree in 2009. After graduation she worked in the Eastern Plains of Colorado. She returned to the Western Slope in 2010 & has been here at Fruita Canyon Dental ever since.Chelsie enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, friends and fur babies. Jessie May is from the Fruita area. Although she’s moved around a bit, she has returned to this area, and we are so happy to have her back with our team. In her spare time, Jessie May loves to do flower arranging, and is very talented. She makes beautiful floral bouquets. She also loves spending time with her husband and darling little boy. Jessie May has such a bright smile, and will make you feel so comfortable and at ease at your next appointment.

We are so lucky to have Madalyn join our office as one of our dental assistants. She comes to us with lots of expertise from the orthodontic world, where she was an ortho technician for 6 years. She also had lots of experience working with patients and making them feel safe and comfortable during treatment. Madalyn grew up in Palisade, home of the famous peach. Her parents still live in that area hand have an orchard with lots of yummy fruit. She has been married to her best friend for 9 years...Read More, and has two little monsters (beautiful kids).
