I have more than ten years of experience in the field of dentistry. I began my career with Dr. Simmons office in 2013 and have embraced the core values of integrity, transparency, professionalism and excellence. During my time in dentistry I have obtained many hours of continuing education in areas such as Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry and much more to aid in providing excellent care to our patients. I currently reside in North County San Diego with my husband and six year old son.

Hi, I’m Shawna. I have been Dr. Simmons’ hygienist for over 12 years now. I graduated from Southwestern College in San Diego in 2003 and was a dental assistant for several years before that. I am a San Diego Native and live in Leucadia. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, camping, and chasing my 11 year old daughter around. I hope to work for Dr. Simmons forever!
