Dr. Hyrum “Greg” Hatch developed an early interest in dentistry and went on to build a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years as both a clinician and lecturer before retiring in September 2024. Dr. Mason B. Konkle, a native of Austin, Texas, developed an early interest in science while attending the Lyndon B. Johnson Science Academy. He later earned his engineering degree from Brigham Young University, where his interest in dentistry began after undergoing cosmetic treatment to address his own esthetic dental concerns. Vernetti Award in recognition of his excellence in restorative dentistry. Dr. Jennifer H. Konkle was born while her father, Dr. Hatch, was completing his doctoral degree at the University of Southern California. A few years later, her family moved to Arizona, where he established his private dental practice. After graduating from Chandler High School, Dr. Konkle moved to Utah to study Nutritional Science at Brigham Young University, where she met her husband, Dr. Mason Konkle. Dr. Tanner graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton University School of Dentistry, also graduating Cum Laude. In his words, “I make sure my patient’s concerns are understood, their questions addressed, and their dental care delivered with care and understanding.” Dr. Tanner enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has admitted to a fascination and a desire to continuously study implant placement and endodontics (root canals). Dr. Tanner is a member of the International Dental Implant Association and is proud to have been awarded a mastership in the organization. Outside of the office, Dr. Tanner enjoys any type of competitive activity including running, racquetball, and other sports. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, their daughters Kyree and Lily, and their son Reece.
