I would like to take a moment to commend Dr. Schulz and the entire staff at Sherwood Dental for the excellent care that they have provided to me and my family the past several years. Dr. Schulz is a very skilled and talented dentist who takes the time to answer your questions in detail. Just wanted to say with a lot of moving in Wisconsin I and my wife unfortunately had to "experiment" with many different dentists (6 total). I never liked the dentist which stems from the days as a child. I remembered onion smelling hands and breath and these needles that injected numbing medicine that produce a horrid back arching pain (yes unfortunately he is real). I also remember dental hygienists scrapping each tooth and accidentally poking my gums and I remember those really deep pokes....read more The majority of my past dental locations the dental staff would only talk to their own staff and generally ignore me. The folks at Sherwood dental are very personable and provide you with a whole lot (a lot, a lot) of dental education. They kinda shocked me...these people take their job seriously. What can save you money is knowing how to protect those pearly whites. I never received anything close to their dental education they provide. They are up to par with new dental equipment also. When they clean my teeth they use a super sonic cleaner first and then scrap the harder plaque residue, polish, and floss. I've heard of the super sonic cleaner before, but other dental hygienists would only use it for tough deep down locations. In general they do a more thorough job, quicker and less painful with less scrapping. I recently had my broken tooth fixed also and he gave me choices with cost, how reliable the fix would be and how my choice could affect my health. He's not out there to get your money, he is bluntly honest. He is the first doctor I did not feel the needle at all with the numbing injection. I feel I found an excellent dentist and dental staff in a little o'town. read less

As always, Paula did a great job cleaning my teeth. I always enjoy the gentle touch she has and the time and care she takes with me EVERY time I come in for a 6 month cleaning. Dr. Schulz always comes in with a smile and handshake and takes time to do a thorough exam and takes time to answer any concerns I may have. Vivian and Sally are equally as nice at the front desk and greet you with smiles and helpful advice if you have insurance questions.
