I know going to the dentist is not at the top of anyone's list of favorite things to do. And while I will not say I had a "fun" time at my recent visit, I will say that McLane Family Dental makes your visit as pleasant as it can possibly be. As a child, I became horrified at the mention of visiting the dentist. Years later, my children were even worse. A few years ago, McLane moved within walking distance of my neighborhood and my wife and I scheduled appointments. I now look forward to my visits with my neighborhood friendly dentist and staff. I am a new patient to the McLane Family Dental Clinic and I am so happy I found them. I am 83 and have gingivitis and other "mouth" issues. Dr. Deidra McLane was very patient and understood my gum issues. She explained her treatment plan thoroughly and did not rush through the evaluation. My hygenist was pleasant, patient, calm, and thankfully used topical lidocaine on my sensitive gum areas while doing a deep cleaning. I have been trusting my dental care to The McLane dental family since they opened their office on Slaughter Lane in South Austin, TX. They are so nice as well as easy to work with. Their office is inviting and comfortable. I have never had to wait long to be seen. I am very happy with them. Recently my husband broke a tooth and went to them. He too thinks their great and is now keeping all his appointments.
If you are looking for a new dental office in Southwest Austin, look no further. It's a very friendly place that runs on time. The staff are all very skilled and the dentists are awesome.
I like that Drs. McLane are conservative in their approaches to treatment. They provide a thorough analysis of the health of all teeth and gums and outline treatments that may be required in the future for a particular tooth. There is never any pressure to do work that can safely be monitored for treatment at a later date, but they don't "put things" off that are needed. Our daughter chipped her front tooth ( almost half of the tooth) over the holiday break. McLane family dental scheduled us an appointment ASAP. Her dentist Diedre McLane was amazing! Polite, professional, assuring, and skilled, bonded missing her tooth and it looks perfect. The cost was very fair, the office and rooms are very clean, the receptionists are polite and communicative, and the dental assistant we had ( Tiffany) was amazing as well. This is my first year going to Mclane’s dental and I am so grateful for their service. For years I did not get my teeth attended to and finally read about them first on their web pages 3years ago. But still I didn’t try them but instead tried another nearby because I got the drs names confused. But after reading the good reviews on our Nextdoor I’m glad to have them.
Wonderful, compassionate care, especially for children. My children love going here. Have never waited more than 2-3 minutes to be seen.
