After being sick for 2 1/2 years and going from doctor to doctor, dentist to dentist, it took one visit from Dr. Lokensgard to know EXACTLY what had happened to my health! NO ONE could figure out it was cavitations! The doctors knew there was toxicity from heavy metals, virus, and bacteria; they just didn't know the root. Nothing showed on x-ray or CT scans of my mouth. My first appointment was April 18, 2018, and after receiving ozone injections in the tissue surrounding the extracted root cana...read morels (cavitations) my quality of life DRASTICALLY improved!! Dr. Lokensgard is humble enough to say he still learns something new every day. The other doctors who had been trying to help me, "simply just don't know what they don't know!" In the past, I have never felt the desire to hug a dentist, but at my 3rd appointment - I hugged Dr. Lokensgard! Before this, I had to live in a bubble free of wifi, wireless equipment, computers, cell phones, etc. otherwise I had widespread pain and my esophagus would constrict making it difficult to breath or speak to people. I was even told I needed to investigate whether or not I had ALS. Almost daily I would choke on food or water. It was embarrassing to try to explain my illness to people. Each time I went to the grocery store, a friend's house, or attempted to attend church - I was in pain, had a sore throat, and ran a low fever. I've only had 4 visits so far, and can tell a huge difference. I am eternally grateful for his commitment to the study of teeth as they relate to our entire bodies - I'm certain people still think this is pseudoscience/medicine. BUT I'm living proof that there is a place for this type of medicine! I feel like I have another chance at being here. I still have work to do because the anaerobic bacteria was left unchecked. We know it has caused some damage that I have to work to reverse. Dr. Lokensgard said he is committed to seeing me through recovery and that gives me great comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Lokensgard to those who are struggling with undiagnosed health issues. What a blessing! read less

Dr Thom and his team are very kind, knowledgeable and caring besides the dental care that goes way beyond just your teeth. Love the new office where you can watch nature as you get your teeth cleaned. Dr Thom and staff take lots of time with new patients to discuss many topics of health and wellness. You will not be disappointed. You will be smiling inside and out!

I was searching for a holistic dentist when I moved to the area. After having my appointment with Dr Lokensgard, I was not disappointed! My hygienist gave me what feels like the best cleaning I have ever had! She recommended more holistic ways to take care of my teeth daily. I feel confident that work I have done there will not result in toxic load to my body as has happened with past dentists.
