It had been years. I felt as though I was wandering aimlessly through a fog, with no sense of direction, when I came to a Valero station on old Route 66. I stumbled inside up to the register. Behind a grizzly store clerk and a wall of scratchers and Marlboro's I caught a glance of myself in the mirror, I was handsome sure, but something seemed off. I decided to stop back in and visit the old man and see if he needed saving again, like I had countless times before. When I enter the office I'm immediately thrown at the service, the two women scheduling appointments ripped my jacket off and began to tend to my ailments, I had never received such gentle care. After almost 2 hours of pampering, Casey, (another old friend) meets me at the door with a smile that reminds me of the good days. She takes me back and begins to go to work, scraping away every last imperfection until I'm shining brighter than Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca. Dr. Mack swoops in, while I was happy to see the old friend, his face carried the expression of a man with bad news. "What is it Mack?" I asked him. "You have a cavity, a bad one too. Looks like I finally can pay you back for all the times you saved me. But don't thank me, this gal Casey found it, she's one of our brightest." "You always did know how to pick em Mack." With that he proceeded to fill my cavity and save my life. I woke up to all of the hygienists and women he employed tending to my wounds. They kept me there until I was able to get back on my feet, and then helped me back outside. I put on my leather jacket and shades and tipped my hat to the woman who had possibly saved my life. Mack leaned in and whispered l, "We'll be here whenever you need us, take care of yourself out there." And I left.Sometimes I think about that day as I ride city to city saving folks. Whenever I am in a place that's uncomfortable or doesn't feel like home I think back to Mack Wrights office and to how Casey and everyone there saved my life, and just can't help but crack a smile.10/10 would recommend. read less

I love this place and would never go to any other office! The Staff is SO kind and Mac is the best!
