Dr. Tommy and his staff are very personable & accomodating. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted by name and already checked in! They made me feel extremely comfortable during treatment by walking me through exactly what to expect. Dr. Tommy & his staff answered all my questions & concerns thoroughly & thoughtfully. I am glad I found Kakouras Family Dentistry!

Rachel and Alicia are two of the Best hygienst in Charlotte. Obviously, their clinical skills are top notch and current however, their personalities keep me coming back every 6-months. When (not if but when) I need dental fillings done, Dr Helms and Dr Kakouras are The Best. They have the latest in digital technology available for me. Love you all. Mark

I have very high anxiety about going to the dentist. My past experiences are what has defined this nervous relationship with the phrase “dentist”.But I care about keeping my teeth. And I had some serious issues from neglect on my part... I was encouraged by my family to get insurance and go to their dentist. Kakorouras family dentistry.I was so scared I was trembling the whole time during my exam. I had issues that I knew were bad. The team didn’t go hard on me like my past experiences they chee...read morered me up and were empathetic with the fact that I care and want to make healthy choices. They didn’t scare me with the situation. They told me my treatment plan with a solution based attitude. No shaming. No negative outlook on my hygiene. Encouragement that is and was the genuine article.I’m still completing my treatment plan but I have completed about half. I am consistently treated very well. And I’m starting to feel better about myself as a person because it really took a lot of effort on my part to follow through.In terms of how my treatment plan was laid out. It’s also amazing.. Everything is laid out with common sense. I’m not super uncomfortable from having too much done in one day at the recommendation of the team. I appreciate this office greatly and at every turn I recommend them to those I encounter who are searching for dental care. read less

Dr. Tommy Kakouras is an phenomenal dentist! I love and appreciate all the work that he and his staff does. Everyone in the dentistry from the front door staff to the back office staff is extremely polite, professional and personable.I recently got a crown replaced that I originally got when I was 16 and I actually shed tears! My crown is beautiful and you cannot even tell it's a crown! I'll let you see for yourself..
