I had the beginnings of gum disease. Mary, a dental hygienist, did a deep cleaning (scaling) plus recommended practices on my part (nothing new: flossing, water pick, rinsing with a certain mouthwash). I had a remarkable 3 month improvement. It's very helpful to have a dental practice that is proactive.I went back 3 months later to make sure I'm still doing well.
