I have been a patient of Dr Marc for most of my life. By comparison to other dentists his work stands out for his attention to detail. I am always impressed with the results! Dr Marc and his staff are always very pleasant and informative making my regular visits feel quick, easy and educational. The personal relationships Dr Marc and staff build with their patience shows how much they all care about us.

My family and I have been going to Dr Purdy for about 4 years now and have had nothing but the best treatment available. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. They have a proactive approach to dentistry that I highly value. I've always felt comfortable going here and looked forward to it, yes I said it looked forward to going to the dentist.

This is a great dentist. The staff is friendly and truly wants what is best for the patient. Though they are not in network with any insurance companies, I would pay the extra money to go see them as opposed to going to a bad in-network dentist. Good dentists are hard to find in Ithaca, but Dr. Purdy's office is a good one. I recently began experiencing incredible pain in my bottom tooth. Though Dr. Purdy was out of network, I had heard good things about him (and poor things about some of the o...read morether dentists), so scheduled an appointment. The dentist assistant Anna was so incredibly helpful. She was able to get me in for an X-ray on Friday (the day I called) when the dentist wasn't there, and she emailed him the x-ray and pictures to figure out what was wrong. The doctor wasn't sure what was going on, but rather than jumping the gun and doing a root canal on the tooth that was hurting, he tried a few other things (ibuprofen to reduce swelling, a panoramic x-ray, another test to determine the pain). He was also happy to refer me to another dentist if I could get an earlier appointment or wanted a second opinion. After they referred me to an oral surgeon, the dentist assistant followed up with me to check on my pain. She also offered to provide me with quotes ahead of time (since I'm out of network) so I could call my insurance to see what the fees would be. read less

I've known Dr. Marc for many years now. He's patiently been my dentist. I say this because I am the HUGEST wimp in the world when it comes to dentistry. I can't stand pain. But, Dr. Marc makes sure that the visits to his office are painless. He is an excellent dentist, and not just because he makes certain that I feel no pain. I wouldn't go to anyone else.
