Doctor Dyson is the best dentist wich I know from my 30 year experience! Kids never scary to go dentist ofis and they never cry , he's hand is magic ! He's super nice, kind and very positive happy person wich love the kids , so i can't explain everything obout about him because my English not good, but I can say he's is the BEST!!! Kids doesn't feel any pain with him, they don't understand even what his doing, kids just sit get happy , play , talk with him and go 😊 he's really professional...read more off his job! I have been taking my children to see Dr. Dyson and his staff since November 2015. At that time, my son (who is on the Spectrum) was petrified of the dentist after being poorly treated by a pediatric dentist closer to our home. I knew that Dr. Dyson was trained in how to handle children with special needs, but I was amazed to learn that the ENTIRE staff of My Children's Dentist knew how to assist special needs children with their dental experience. The staff was aware of my son's difficulty at t...read morehe dentist near home, and they spent a lot of time over the course of 2 years helping him get comfortable with going to the dentist. He was never pressured to sit through the entire dental exam until he was ready. The staff explained EVERY step of the process and answered my son's questions about what to expect. Watching him grow and overcome his fear of the dentist warmed my heart in a way I did not know was possible! He looks forward to getting his teeth cleaned and getting "pictures" of his teeth taken. This past May, he was brave enough to sit through getting a cavity filled- a situation that I never thought I'd see him do without being sedated. He proudly talks about his experience to others and has encouraged others that have cavities to stay calm because there's nothing to be afraid of. This past week, My Children's Dentist did something for our family that went above and beyond in my eyes. Both of my children had appointments scheduled at the Flemington location. Of course, not checking the appointment card closer, I took the kids to the Washington location. When I realized the mistake I made, my heart fell into my stomach. However, the staff at the Washington office was able to work around the appointments already scheduled to meet both of my children's needs. My daughter had her tooth extracted by Dr. Dyson who did so in such a way that my daughter didn't even know the tooth was out of her mouth until it was over! And my son's 6-month check-up went without a hitch, and he even did a bite-wing for his x-rays which he never did before then! Obviously, I will make sure to double check where their appointments were scheduled in the future, but to know that the staff can be so accommodating, patient, and provide top-notch services in a pinch makes my confidence in the staff at My Children's Dentist go sky-high.
