I love Dr. Vallera and I used to see her sister Dr.Yanni for years, but lauren the main hygienist at vfcd was so unbelievably mean to me both of my visits there and it makes me super uncomfortable and not wanting to go back to vfcd again.

I had my first visit to Vallera Dental. My former dentist retired and I was apprehensive about going somewhere new. From the moment I entered the office, I felt comfortable and well taken care of. The staff is professional and courteous. My exam, x rays, and cleaning were handled in an efficient and thorough manner. My concerns were addressed with compassion and thoughtfulness. I have been with them for quite some time and have found the services offered top of the line. Most importantly, I feel that all of the staff are true professionals but never too busy to offer the care and comfort of a friend. They are a great group and I highly recommend them.

I lost my dental insurance when I turned 26 & was booted from my parents insurance, that was 2018...I have severe dental anxiety from a bad experience when I was in middle school and spent pretty much my whole adult life avoiding the dentist at any cost. Once I lost my insurance that was just another excuse or crutch to continue with not going. COVID? Another excuse in my mind to not go. I struggled with myself for years and earlier this year I finally got dental insurance again and said alright...read more… we’re doing this, it took every ounce of courage I had to make an appointment. I know the cliche of “you’re going to wish you did it sooner!” That everyone says once you finally do something that’s scary or intimidating, but this time I truly mean it. I wish I had done it sooner. The staff here are AMAZING, they’ve never once guilted me even when I was expecting the worst(and probably deserved it). They have all been nothing but friendly, encouraging and kind. Dr. Moore (unsure of how she spells it) is so kind & gentle, the hygienists are all lovely and professional.I’ve never had a dental team who made me feel comfortable what-so-ever while I was in the chair, in fact I’ve had quite the opposite experience. The ladies at the front desk are always kind, friendly and helpful as well! If you’re a person (especially a woman as they are woman owned and run) who is scared, feels guilty, embarrassed or any kind of hesitation because of the state of your teeth like I was...you’re going to want to come here, I promise you the weight lifted off your shoulders after the first appointment is worth the mental struggle of it all.
