This was my initial appointment with Dr.Cousins; I was very favorably impressed. First, I had not confirmed my appointment and it was not on their schedule, but they fit me in and saw me immediately. Second, I had recently seen a large dental practice to have cavities addressed. That practice gave me a dental plan for crowns, dentures, cleanings as priorities and not the cavities, despite my requests to fix the cavities first. They refused to schedule according to my wishes and would not return ...read moremy calls, so I sought a new dentist. Dr. Cousins did not immediately repeat the costly exams and x-rays that had been done weeks earlier. She worked with me and my limited, no insurance budget to address the priority needs first. She was very patient with me, explaining in full detail the state of my problem teeth and cavities and her recommendations for a plan going forward - a plan that would not bankrupt me. I appreciate that Dr. Cousins took so much time and listened to my concerns. I wish I had found her years ago. read less
