Over the weekend, I accidentally chipped my tooth, but I managed to secure an early Monday appointment with Dr. Stein. Following a quick x-ray, it turned out that the chip was superficial but required a filling due to its depth. The anesthetic process was comfortable. Dr. Stein kindly engaged in conversation until ensuring the anesthesia took effect and that I felt at ease before starting the procedure. He explained the procedure to me and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The whole pro...read morecess was painless and quick, which I really appreciated since I had a busy day ahead. I also appreciated that they used tooth-colored filling material so it's not noticeable at all. Dr. Stein even took the time to smooth out the filling so it feels just like my natural tooth. Overall, I am very satisfied with my visit to Dr. Stein's office for my chipped tooth. The care and attention given by both the doctor and staff were exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Stein for any dental needs. Thank you for making my visit a pleasant one! read less

I have known Dr. Stein for a long time and have been going to him for over 20 years . After a long time with ongoing dental maintenance, it was time to go to the next level of treatment, namely getting all of my teeth capped and my bite properly aligned as I am a grinder and my teeth were literally wearing out. The process took approximately 6 months and was pricey but the results were amazing and well worth the effort and expense. Dr. Stein educated me on the process and answered all of my questions in his typical good natured way. My teeth and bite are perfect and have been in place for about three years now with no problems whatsoever. Dr. Stein is a great dentist and an artist in his profession and I would highly recommend him to anyone, weather you are in need of a cleaning, getting all of your teeth capped or any procedure in between. His dental assistant, Nancy, is equally dedicated in her role, is totally professional and very friendly. Some people may be afraid of going to the dentist and may put off needed treatment, however, I can assure anyone in need of dental service to call Dr. Stein's office and make an appointment, you will be very glad that you did. read less

Dr. Stein is wonderful man & a better dentist. He’s kind & considerate. I’m not a very good dental patient. Dr. Stein was very patience with me. His assistant Nancy is wonderful, also. She’s personable & very kind. I would recommend Dr. Stein highly.

I was referred by a friend, and I've never been happier, or more at ease seeing a dentist. Dr Stein took the time and care to fully understand my dental history and needs. I have major anxiety about seeing any dentist. Every Chicago area dentist was just milking me for money, or telling me I need work done, that I do not need. Dr Stein doesn't do this. Dr. Stein is the most gentle, patient, caring, understanding and funny 😁 dentist I have ever met. His assistant Nancy is also very kind and always makes you feel relaxed. Maybe with a story or a complement or just always very attentive and always remembers what you tell her about you're self. Highly recommend 👌

Don't even think of going to another dentist in Chicago. Wherever you live, make the trip to Old Town to see Dr. Stein. He is thorough, professional, and he listens to your concerns. You will never feel rushed as in some offices. And you will NEVER have to return because he did not do a good job with your tooth or teeth. Most highly recommended.

My friend has recommended to me Dr Stein. I have Only positive experience and begins from the reception as well. Very professional! Dr Stein is good listener too! I like his calming voice and of course- great job he delivers!
