Last time I had my teeth cleaned, Dr Lacour showed me a picture of one of my molars. It had hairiline cracks in it, and he told me that it might break off and that it would eventually have to be capped with a crown. Sure enough, a few weeks later, part of the tooth broke off. Last week I had a crown made and “installed”—all in a 2-hour office visit. Dr Lacour and Amy prepared the tooth by grinding it away leaving a post on which the crown would sit. The image information was then fed into a machine that sculpted a perfect crown from a small block of material. (I got to watch that fascinating machine in action.) The resulting crown was attached with a special epoxy—and that was that. I left the office with a new tooth and could eat and chew normally a half hour after the procedure. It feels and looks great. The entire crown procedure took about 2 hours with several 15-20 minute breaks in between. Everyone was friendly. The atmosphere is very inviting and the general atmosphere is positive.

What a wonderful dental practice. This is a rare group of people these days. The care and expert staff is something to experience these days. Take from the son of a long time dentist, much like the way that things used to be when great care was common place. I look forward to my next visit!
