We highly recommend Dr. Erela Katz Rappaport to any adult as well as child needing dentistry work. She was professional, gentle, mild mannered, had a great assistant, and both mom and patient got to come into the room during the treatment. We were referred by a close friend, and then found out how many more of our friends have been ever so happy for years. We live in UTC and it was worth every extra mile we drove and got therein 20 minutes and even has a bit of spare time to use the restroom...read more and check in. Highly recommended. read less

Love, love, love Dr. Rappaport! I've been going to this office for about 20 years. The staff is awesome, the doc is awesome. They're very patient with my underwhelming flossing regime and they make me feel like family.

Dr. Katz Rappaport has been amazing for me. I started coming here because she's my mother's dentist as well. Turns out that she and the team are wonderful. I live in Europe, and sometimes fly out to visit home (here) with little notice - this time had a day and a half notice that I was coming home. The team made sure that I had a teeth cleaning appointment available to me this week as it's been almost a year, and when it turned out I needed fillings the doctor herself made sure they managed to f...read moreit me in so they could fill them while I was here. They have done this every single time I have come here - squeezed me in around other work to make sure they could take care of me while I was here, including if I needed oral surgery. She has also helped my mom with sleep apnea, and assessed me for it. The hygienists are lovely too - very friendly and make sure you are absolutely comfortable, and I never feel discomfort, even when being anaesthetised, because the entire team is very skilled. I cannot recommend Dr. Katz Rappaport enough - the work is quality and the environment excellent. read less

I'd say this is by far the best practice I have ever visited since I started seeing dentists for regular cleaning and periodontal treatment. Dr. Rappaport has the kind of deep knowledge, rigor and patience every patient would hope to get. My dental issues pointed out by her was spot-on. I also much appreciate hygienist Richell's work for being thorough, gentle and careful. My teeth felt so much refreshed after her cleaning. Dr. Rappaport is an extraordinarily gifted dentist. I have lived in Australia, Europe, and Chicago before coming to San Diego and have never had a dentist whose work is so elegant and complication-free. In addition to her dental work, she was able to help with my sleep apnea. The mouthguard with which she fitted me is effortless to use (in contrast to the miseries of a cpap machine), and I soon noticed the benefit -- my sleep feels more restful and my blood pressure has returned to very healthy.
