I had a good appointment with Dr. Lucas and staff. Everyone was courteous and diligent. I came with tooth pain and he uncovered the cause which wasn't obvious from just looking at the x-rays or tooth. I'm glad he figured it out!
The customer service provided by East Alabama Family Dentistry is really excellent. They value your time and make the experience as positive as it can be. A great job by all!

Dr Lucas is an excellent dentist. My wife had an infected tooth of which another local dentist would not address. Dr Lucas consulted a dental plan to remedy the problem and was very comforting and understanding my wife's situation. My wife has now changed dentists to Dr Lucas and joined the EAFD dental insurance plan too which is very reasonable. Dr. Lucas was able to fix my discolored front tooth in 30 minutes, where other dentists had tried and failed (three times) over the course of 15 years. He even saved me from an unnecessary filling that was misdiagnosed by another dentist. I'd highly recommend this practice; they completely restored my faith in dentistry! Feels great to smile again!

Let me preface this by saying that while most people don't like going to the dentist, I'm one of those people who will avoid it at all cost because of bad experiences in the past.Today I had to have a surgical extraction on one tooth, a root canal and crown put on another tooth, and a filling on yet another tooth all in one sitting.
