Dr. McTier was born and raised in Atlanta, GA with her parents and younger brother. She attended St. Pius X Catholic High school where she played varsity tennis and basketball. She went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she graduated with Honors and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in Nutrition and a minor in Chemistry in 2010. Dr. McTier’s goal is for her patients to feel like family and have a pleasant and comfortable experience from beginning to end. Dr. McTier enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly cosmetics. She is trained and certified in the administration of injectables such as Botox, used in both facial enhancement and management of TMJ muscle pain due to bruxism. Dr. McTier married her husband, Blake, who she met in dental school in 2015. They have two children together, Carter and McKenzie. I was born & raised in Indiana. I moved to Atlanta in 1998 after graduating from Indiana University to pursue a career in the retail industry. Dr. Bragg was born in Louisville, Mississippi, and raised in Columbus, Mississippi. Growing up, much of her time was spent in the water with competitive swimming. Her interest began in the dental/orthodontic field as a preteen in braces, initially because there was the option to play Atari and have a coke in the patient break room. Dr. Bragg received her dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1997 in Augusta, Georgia. She was in Snellville initially and has had her practice in Cumming since 1998. After nearly 30 years of serving this community, Dr. Jennifer Bragg has transitioned ownership of the practice to Dr. Alexandra McTier. Dr. Bragg remains involved in the practice, focusing exclusively on Dental Sleep Medicine, continuing to work closely with physicians and specialists in the management of patients suffering from snoring and sleep apnea with Oral Appliance Therapy.
