Desert Willow Dental, Formerly John G Wood, DDS

Jenn has been in dentistry for 10 years and has worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Wood for several years. She was born in Glens Falls, New York and raised in Arizona. She loves spending time with her kids, hiking and being outdoors.

Kris has been in dentistry for over 30 years. She started as dental assistant and then worked in the front office for the past 20 plus years. She has worked with Dr. Wood as his office manager since 2016. She is originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin and has lived in Arizona since 1998. She has eleven siblings and is a loyal Green Bay Packers fan. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her kids and husband traveling, camping, going to the ocean and watching football.

Diane has been in dentistry over 25 years. She is an Illinois native and graduated from Phoenix College. Diane has two children and five grandchildren. She loves to cook and craft.

Dr. Ewell has loved dentistry from the beginning when she began assisting at age 18 in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado. She soon saw the value in having a gentle touch and a personable heart when serving her patients. She enjoys providing conservative, necessary, and esthetic general dentistry to patients of all ages and treats every patient like family. Lindsay Shearer graduated from Phoenix College dental assisting program in 2013 earning her C.D.A. She grew up in the Mojave desert and has lived in Phoenix for 15 years. Dr. Crane was raised in the rural country side of Southern Idaho. It was there he learned to work diligently alongside his four brothers and father on a dairy farm. It was through the local Boy Scouts and master scout, who is a dentist, that he developed an interest in the dental field. Jannett was born and raised in Yuma, AZ and now lives in Glendale. She's been in the dental field for over 24 years. She has 3 children. She enjoys being a soccer mom. She's her kids biggest fan! In her free time she loves to bake, do interior design, being outdoors on hikes, traveling with her husband to his softball tournaments. She's always looking for an adventure! 

Sarah is a newly graduated, dental assistant. Sarah was born and raised here in Phoenix and was homeschooled until high school. What got her into dentistry was her love to care for other people. Sarah is a proud auntie of two and the middle child of her family.  In her free time she enjoys swimming, hiking, crocheting, and sewing. She also enjoys spending time with friends, family and church family.

Hannah joined the dental field in 2019 as a dental assistant. She went to Salt Lake Community College in West Jordan Utah to further her career as a Registered Dental Hygienist and graduated in 2022. Hannah is passionate about connecting with her patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband in the mountains, practicing photography, trying new places to eat, and teaching her Australian Shepherd, Maverick, new tricks.

Tanisha graduated from Shasta College Dental Hygiene Program in 2022. She began her career in Redding, CA before moving to Arizona in the summer of 2023. She is passionate about providing honest, gentle and quality care to her patients while educating them on the etiology and importance of oral hygiene care. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her daughter, family and friends. She keeps active outdoors and at her local gym.
