Dr. Najar was born in Manhattan, Kansas. He received his DDS degree from Baghdad University College of Dentistry in 2003, where he graduated with High Honors. One year later, he completed advanced training in general dentistry at a higher education institute in Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Ahmed practiced dentistry in Detroit and Indianapolis. Due to Dr. Ahmed’s passion for orthodontics, in 2014 he earned another master’s degree in Dentistry, Master of Science in Specialized Orthodontics, from the International Medical School in Munster, Germany. Additionally, for showing his interest in and fulfilling the requirements of the advancement of the goals of orthodontics, Dr. Ahmed was elected as active lifetime member of the American Orthodontic Society in January of 2015. In pursuit of excellence, Dr. Ahmed is constantly educating himself by taking numerous hours of continuing education, lectures and hands-on courses in the latest dental advancements. He is dedicated to providing outstanding and exceptional dental care to his patients. In addition to being a member of the American Orthodontic Society, Dr. Ahmed is an active member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Dental Association. Currently, Dr. Ahmed resides in Bellingham, Washington with his wife Sura, his daughter Mariam, and son Yousif. His other interests include attending social and community events, traveling, swimming and hiking. Dr. Ahmed also enjoys outdoor photography. Dr. Yun M. Kang is a family dentist with experience in many aspects of General Dentistry. His practice experience spans a diverse age range of patients from pediatric to geriatric over many years since graduation from the Medical College of Virginia Dental School in 2003. Following his path of sincere interest in dentistry, he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at MCV Dental School. For the goal of providing the highest quality of dental care, Dr. Kang has done numerous continual education courses over the years. Dr. Kang completed a 2 year orthodontic program for general dentists from the United States Dental Institute of Orthodontics in 2010. In addition to this, Dr. Kang also completed Invisalign Clear Essential I and II in 2008 and 2014 respectively. Dr. Kang is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as a few regional study groups. After practicing dentistry in Virginia for many years, Dr. Kang moved to Washington State in 2011 where he joined Sunrise Dental. Dr. Kang’s focus is to provide gentle and quality care, and patients are always his first priority. As a lover of outdoor activities, Dr. Kang enjoys hiking, skiing, and taking nature photos with his wife. As a firm believer of holistic health, Dr. Kang practices ancient wisdom, such as Dhan Yoga and meditation, daily. Raised in Arizona, Marlise has lived in Washington for eighteen years. She has been in the dental field for ten years, starting in Mount Vernon. At her Sedro Woolley home, she and her husband enjoy the company of their five horses, three dogs, and two cats. She is a proud mother of six children. In her spare time, she is an Active 4H Leader in Skagit County- where she is involved in numerous fairs and competitions.

Kelly started at Diamond Dental as an intern while attending Dental Assisting School. As soon as she completed her internship, she was hired on and has been a part of the team for the last four years. She has a passion for classic cars and even enjoys working on them from time to time. Kelly loves animals and enjoys being active outdoors. She will often go running with her dog, Skye.

After graduating high school, Amanda knew she wanted her career to be in the dental field. Amanda attended Charter College where she graduated as a Registered Dental Assistant. After graduation in 2012, she started working with Diamond Dental and has been here for three years. She currently resides in Whatcom County with her fiancé Zeke and daughter Kayla. They love the outdoors and traveling.

Born and raised in Skagit Valley, Debbie came to the Diamond team with over six years of previous dental experience as both a receptionist and Dental Assistant. Debbie can often be found dancing and riding bikes with her son, Joseph. She is an avid baker, and enjoys taking trips down the coast to Oregon, as well as hiking the Pacific Northwest.

In June 2015, Larissa graduated from Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Washington with a degree in dental hygiene. Her passion for the dental field was sparked long before that. Since 2006, she has studied and worked in dental and is now happy to have achieved her dream career! Larissa enjoys spending time with her Boston terrier, Snorkel. She also enjoys many other activities in her spare time, such as watching movies and television shows, reading novels and comics, playing video and board game...Read Mores, and also tabletop RPGs (Dungeons and Dragons).
