Scott B. Herring, DDS was born and raised in Elgin, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree at Southwestern University. In 2005, he graduated cum laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. In his free time, Dr. Herring enjoys sports, movies, and time spent with his wife, their family, and friends. In order to stay up to date and provide the best patient care, Dr. Scott enjoys attending continuing education classes along with his father. Debbie is our Practice Manager. She and Dr. Carl started this practice in 1977 when they moved to Elgin. They have been married 45 years, and after raising their two children in Elgin, they enjoy watching their grandkids flourish here too. Debbie likes yoga, traveling, gardening, and sewing. She also loves spending time with family.

From shaping young minds in the classroom to promoting bright, healthy smiles in the dental chair, Jennifer Herring has always been passionate about helping people thrive. Before becoming a registered dental hygienist, Jennifer spent several years as a dedicated bilingual elementary school teacher at Elgin ISD. JJ is our Senior Business Coordinator and Office Manager. She has been a part of our team since 2012 but began her dental career in 2001 as a dental assistant. JJ is married, has two children, and 3 precious grandchildren. She grew up in west Texas but moved to our area in 2001. JJ enjoys spending time with family and friends in her free time.

Lisa is one of our awesome RDAs. She began her dental career in our office in 1984. Lisa is married and has three sons. She has lived in Elgin all her life and enjoys working out and spending time with her family.

Rachel is one of our two terrific RDHs. She became part of our team in 2016, but she joined the dental field in 2012 as a dental assistant. Rachel is married with one son who was born in 2017. She has always lived in the area and loves spending time with family and friends and watching her three children thrive.

Morgan has joined our team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). She was raised in Elgin, and completed her dental education in 2011 from Lonestar Dental Assistant Training School. She enjoys working with our patients and getting to know them. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. Her family loves to watch her son play baseball and football.
