She received her DDS from The Ohio State College of Dentistry prior to completing a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Nashville Dental Society, Southern Women’s and Volunteer Study Clubs. Dr. Tao is married and has two dogs. Her family enjoys volunteering in the Greater Nashville area, as well as a competitive game of racquetball or a long run through one of Tennessee’s many beautiful trails. Kim received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1993 and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996 from Western Kentucky University. While in hygiene school, Kim was chosen by the Kentucky Dental Hygiene Association to serve as a student delegate to the American Dental Hygiene Association in Chicago. Crystal graduated from Tennessee State University in 2009 with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She brings a great “can do” attitude to work every day. Eager to provide excellent service, our patients frequently comment that Crystal is “very thorough” and “so comforting.” Crystal has been with us since 2010. Crystal, a Nashville native, loves spending time with her husband, Jesse, and her son, Beckham. She enjoys decorating, sewing, and crafting when she’s not at work.

Lisa, Dr. Cummings wife, worked at Advanced Dental Health Center from 1990-1996 and started back in the office as of August 2014. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, this Christian Brothers University graduate makes sure everything in our office runs smoothly. Lisa and Dr. Cummings have been married since 1983, and they have two beautiful daughters, Lauren and Lindsey. When she’s not at the office, Lisa spends her time reading, hiking, and traveling.

Heather, our scheduling coordinator, is usually the first person you speak with at Advanced Dental Health Center. She efficiently manages the front desk and the clinical and hygiene schedules. Many patients can attribute their “ah hah” moment about the connection between their oral health and overall health to Kelly.
