Dr. Arpan Nalin Patel Dr. Patel made the decision at a very young age that he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and work in dentistry. He can even recall back to the age of 7, walking around his father’s practice, constructing and playing around with all the dental models. Not long after graduation, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and attend the same graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania. There, he gained extensive knowledge in multiple fields of dentistry including cosmetic, restorative and surgical. In 2000, he completed UPenn’s dental medicine program and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, he joined his father’s successful practice and was mentored by him there. This mentoring in highly specialized care immediately put Dr. Patel five to seven years ahead of his peers. In his first month of working with his father, he learned how to perform full-mouth rehabilitations, something newly trained dentists are usually not too keen on. His extensive knowledge in the field does not end there. In 2008, he embarked on a special, educational journey by taking an extensive course in dental implantology. Before taking this course, he would typically recommend dental bridges and partial dentures to his patients in need of some restoration. Now, through specializing in dental implantology, he can provide his patients with a better-quality tooth that will last a lifetime. His practice emphasizes on providing patients comfort and bringing them satisfaction. He best does this by keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry. Dr. Mohil is experienced as both a restorative and cosmetic dentist, focusing on the combination of periodontal, implant and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Mohil has cultivated his clinical skills and refined his eye for aesthetics and restorative dentistry from his training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (Boston, Massachusetts), where he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
