Dr. “Scott” (as he is called in the office) grew up in Boise, graduating from Boise High School, the College of Idaho, and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He and his wife Maribel, started their dental practice in 1989 in SE Boise, and later relocated to a larger facility in downtown Boise in 2007, where they have been since that time. Dr. Morrell has served as Past President of the Southwest Idaho Dental Association, and served 7 years as Secretary Treasurer of the Idaho State Denta...Read Morel Association, in addition to his work on dental peer review boards and various committees. A firm believer in constantly improving his skills and knowledge, Dr. Morrell has studied with renowned dental educators such as Dr. Frank Spear, Dr. John Kois and Dr. Carl Misch. Dr. “Maribel” grew up in Panama City, Panama, where she obtained her first dental degree at the Universidad de Panama Facultad de Odontologia, followed by a three year residency in dental public service in underserved regions of Panama. She later obtained her second degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1989. Taylor has been working at Morrell Dental since graduating from College of Western Idaho in 2016. She was a dental assistant in the back for 2 years and recently took our position up front. In her time away from dentistry she enjoys reading books and shopping.

Shayla has been a dental assistant since 2009 where she graduated from Milan Institute. She has been with Morrell Dental since March 2017. She has experience working the front desk as well. In her time away from dentistry she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children.
