A respected and trusted member of the community, Dr. Fitz has many fourth-generation patients. He loves to see patients at their biannual appointments, proud that in many cases, he has been their parents’, grandparents’ and great-grandparents’ dentist. Dr. Fitz has been practicing for over 35 years. Upon graduating from University of Illinois College of Dentistry, he joined a four-office dental practice in Chicago as an associate. In 1994 he became a partner and in 2014 he became the sole owner and practitioner of New Image Dental. Since he took over the practice, Dr. Fitz has remodeled and modernized the dental office. He has implemented state-of-the-art software and technology. In 2020, he installed CBCT x-ray equipment that produces three-dimensional (3-D) images of patients’ teeth and underlying bone structure, as well as the nerve pathways and surrounding soft tissues. Last year he installed the Planmeca Emerald 3-D scanner for taking digital impressions, making the experience pleasant for patients. He continually seeks opportunities that enhance his staff's and his patients' visits. Gloria has been a dental assistant for 35 years and she's been with the team since 1991. She loves learning about new technology in dentistry alongside Dr. Fitz. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is helping people feel comfortable and calm while in the chair. Carol has been a hygienist since 2001 and with New Image Dental since 2011. As the saying goes, you never feel like you're working if you love what you do and the people you are with. While she loves seeing all the familiar faces for their returning recare appointments, she's always happy to see new patients to make them feel like they are part of our dental family. Ann Marie has been a dental hygienist since 2001. She joined New Image Dental in 2006 while working as a hygienist, and has been our Practice Administrator since 2019.
