I was born and raised in a small town in Southeastern Michigan. After graduating high school in 1992, I served in the United States Navy for 5 years, with most of my time spent in beautiful Coronado, California. After the Navy, I moved to Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan University where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I live here with my beautiful wife of 14 years, Ruby, my awesome 5 year old son, Pierce, and my sweet 1 year old baby girl Cali. In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing at the beach, scuba diving, boating, exercising, traveling, and spending quality time with my family! I feel very lucky to have acquired this dental practice in a place where I have always wanted to live. It is a unique and special office, because it has been in business since the 1940's. Since my arrival at this office, I have worked hard to create an environment with the most advanced innovations and technology in dentistry today. I am constantly involved in Continuing Education courses to keep me informed and up to date on the latest research and developments in oral health. Janice was born in Battle Creek, Michigan. In 1971, she graduated from Ferris State University with an Associates in Science degree in Dental Hygiene. After working in Battle Creek for four years, she moved to the Florida Keys in 1975. She has worked here in the office for almost 30 years! In her spare time, she enjoys working in her garden and playing golf. Having worked here so long, Janice has developed a special connection with the patients here at our office!

Ruby was born in Minnesota, but spent most of her childhood living in various states, as her stepfather was military. Ruby met Dr. Manchester in 1993 while he was in the Navy in California and married him in 1998. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. Ruby taught ages 2 through 3rd grade for 10 years and loved it.
